Our Services
A child in our school always needs food, safe water, and emergency medical care and our work ensures their needs are met. Sustainability and Transparency are our top priorities. We want our friends, sponsors, and donors to know exactly where their contributions go by sharing photos, videos, and volunteering opportunities. Donations create an amazing change and make a lasting difference.
Free Education
In Kenya , children pay fees to learn though the government have tried making an impact, there is still an enormous gap to be filled. We offer free Education for our students from kindergarten school to grade six. The free education is expensive in terms of getting learning materials such as books, pens, computers, uniforms and sanitary towels for the adolescent girls.
N\B We always count on friends, sponsors and donors to sustain our children in school.
Meals
Many children who attend school have no access to food once they leave our care, meaning we are their only source of meals . We give them morning porridge, lunch and supper for children living in the orphanage.
Clean Drinking Water
In Rusinga Island, majority of people use water from lake Victoria which is contaminated as the community members use it in Washing , bathing etc. In our school, children have access to clean water which also aids in sanitation and cleanliness to help stop the spread of diseases.
Latrines
The community has got few latrines and majority of the population have got no latrines in their homes hence their alternative is the bushes around them. Our programme this year is to first create awareness and support them in building atleast one latrine in each home lacking the same. We also have one latrine in the school which is currently serving our students and staff. Due to the high number of children and staff in general we are really in need of more latrines in the school.
Emergency medical care
Children in Rusinga Island tragically lack accessnto medical care when emergencies strike. Malaria and water borne diseases such as typhoid, bilharzia and cholera is a greate challange in our community. We also have students who are suffering from sick cell anemia and HIV/AID. N\B Our plan is to build a community dispensary to support not only the studentsbut also the community in general.

We have chicken providing eggs and cows providing milk for the children.
OUR 2024 PLAN
1. We want to purchase a van or a minibus for the children walking longer distances to reach the school. This would ease our learning as children would arrive at school on time.
2. We also aim to install electricity in the school and orphanage to enhance easy learning environments in the institution and also to provide security especially during night time.
